Public Profession of Faith

Baptism

Baptism is one of two ordinances that Jesus instituted for the church. After His resurrection, Jesus said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19–20). These instructions show that the mission of the church is to teach the words of Jesus, make disciples, and baptize those disciples. These things are to be done everywhere (“all nations”) until “the end of the age.”

Baptism is the means by which a person makes a public profession of their faith and their commitment to following Christ. In the waters of baptism, a person declares, “I confess my faith in Christ; Jesus has saved me from my sin and I now have a new life of spiritual growth”

At Crosslink we baptize regularly.  Once a year we have a big outdoor baptism in September and our other baptisms are every other month during one of our Sunday services.  If you are ready to be baptized then please choose the date below. Once you have registered, someone will reach out to discuss baptism with you.
