Why Life Groups?

Vernonbowling.JPG

Life Groups exist so that we can "live together." It is the process of building a community that glorifies God in every aspect of life through making disciples who make disciples. So if you want to grow in your walk with God and better worship Him with your life, then come join one of our life groups. Our life groups take on the personalities of the people that compose them. They can look like a Bible study in someones living room with snacks and drinks or a group of grown men playing basketball and studying scripture at the end. Some people call these "traditional life groups" and "affinity groups." Whatever you call them makes no difference. They both serve the same purpose. Life together to glorify God through making disciples who make disciples.

Our Life Group Leaders @ Crosslink welcomes you to do life with them so we can Link you to Jesus.

Special Note: More upcoming student ministry life groups coming soon. We aim to connect everyone young and old to the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit starting with the first ministry God gave us "The Family".

Remember: Matthew 28:19 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

We believe that one of the best ways for "Church" to actually happen is in small groups.  Relationships begin and grow, allowing for times of rejoicing, grieving, sharing, and mutual support.  Following the example of the early church, we will regularly meet for studying God's Word, fellowship, prayer, and breaking bread - meals AND communion!

Our curriculum will be a mixture of RightNow media material, book studies, and Sunday message study, as applicable.  Material nominations from the group are welcomed !

Please contact me at 832.732.9850 with any questions.

Dooley-Loudermilk Life Group Leaders: Matt Dooley & Steve Loudermilk
Day: Variable (Read Description)
Area: Unrestricted (Read Description)
Description: We all lead busy and active lives, which at times can leave us feeling unable to connect.  We want to bring life group to you and make it an easily accessible way to build community with our church body, learn the scriptures, and serve our communities. Our heart really comes out of Acts 2:42-47, 1 Peter 4:10, Proverbs 27:17, and 2 Corinthians 3:12-18. We want to boldly chase after Jesus together, lifting each other other up, while finding our calling, and reaching and serving those far from him! We will do a weekly study through an online messaging application(details will be shared after joining) based on the weekly sermons.  This will allow anyone to participate no matter what their schedule may be. In addition to the weekly online group study we will have biweekly meetings(likely on Saturdays, but may vary some based on events and service opportunities) to fellowship and serve our communities with our families and friends.  We are based out of Graham but plan to serve and meet throughout Alamance county.
